A lovely collection of Venetian 6-Layer Chevron Ovals and Barrels

Considered to be the most highly prized of early European beads traded into Africa.
All are excellent condition beads ~ circa 1800 ~ having genuinely smooth surfaces commensurate with their many years of usage. These early specimens are becoming increasingly more difficult to find
in this type of undamaged condition - having that special 'historic feel' that easily distinguishes them from later production beads.
