An extremely rare Roman Mosaic Face Bead circa 100 BC to 100 AD - This authentic
13.5 mm example from a private collection, is in un-ground condition but has sadly sustained ancient damage to one of its
sides. A similar bead with identical faces can be seen on page 119 of Robert Liu's Collectible Beads book. - Undamaged specimens of exactly this bead type are valued today at major auction
houses in the $4000-$4500 guide price range. Our price, equivalent to $1000, is commensurate with its condition and offers a
unique opportunity to obtain this rarity, possibly to be displayed in a way that presents only the undamaged faces.
