Mixed large German "Dogon" Glass Spheres
The patina of wear, from their 150 - 200 year life of trading in Africa, gives an attractive marbling effect to different shades of colour in these lovely beads
which were found in the Dogon Area of Mali.
Soaking in a dental cleaning solution removes most of the detritus and a light oiling greatly enhances these colours .. as can be seen with Nos. 15 to 19. Nos. 10 to 14 are as found.
