Mixed with Venetian "Gooseberies" - this type of drawn bead was included amongst the cargoes of trading beads brought into the New World ( The Americas ) from the 1500's to the 1700's by Spanish explorers, notably including Christopher Columbus ( 1451 - 1506 ).
