Natural Stone Pendants from Mauritania
A friend of ours in Nouakchott, the Capital City of Mauritania, inherited a large amount of roughly-hewn natural stone, when her late Mother's stone cutting business ceased processing and polishing a large variety of locally found stone.
She has started a small business making attractive jewellery from these supplies and
a representative sample of her beautiful and unique pendants are on offer below.
Although I am no expert on stone identification, I believe most of these are Agate.
