Attractive beads in beautiful colours which, following the steep rise in prices of genuine Turquoise stone, are nowadays produced in a multitude of varieties in China and then exported all over the world. These examples were found in Mauritania and Mali where their vibrant colours are popular and often used in local tribal jewellery.
