Venetian

The Venetians were the first people to commercially produce beautifully coloured glass beads in large quantities, for the traders of the world, from the 15th Century onwards .. and were the forerunners of many of the large bead-making industries
of today. The following pages contain many fine examples of their excellent quality glass bead production, from those times to the present day.
